Incidents

An Incident is an attack or attempt of attack against a computer or network which harmed, or potentially may harm the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of network data or systems.

Reporting a Cyber Incident:

If you notice activity such as the examples above, it is recommended that you inform the CCIP as quickly as possible. All reports are treated in the strictest of confidence.

Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) Organisations
If you are a CNI Organisation, please visit the Incident Reporting section of this website or contact us.

All Other Users
CCIP is not mandated or resourced to handle Incident Reporting from the general public. If you would like to report an incident related to your home computer, please refer to NetSafe or your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for guidance.
